Tarqeyah started in 2022 while I was still studying at university in Bahrain. There was no plan B, no safety net, and no one telling me it was a good idea. Just a clear gap in the market and a decision to fill it.
The first year was just me and a laptop. No office, no team, no warm introductions. Every client we landed came from the work itself. One project turned into a referral, a referral turned into a retainer, and slowly it stopped feeling like freelance and started feeling like a company.
By 2023 we had a small team and real clients across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. By 2024 we were turning down projects that weren't a fit. None of it came from a pitch deck or a funding round. It came from showing up and doing the work properly, every time.
